Fuel Oil Industry
The product application is mainly as fuel oil. Fuel Oil is an application-specific grade of fuel oil. It is also known as light diesel and is prepared after blending fuel oil with selective raw materials. Fuel Oil is specifically used to generate maximum heat at minimum fuel usage. This oil is used in the burner of the asphalt mixing plant to melt aggregates properly and make a heated mixture of hot mix asphalt. Due to this oil, the aggregates mix with bitumen and produce a quality mix.
- Light diesel oil, or LDO, is a blend of distillates feed and residual oil. It is primarily recommended for stationary or slow speed diesel engines and as Industrial Fuel.
- Fuel oil, also called furnace oil, fuel consisting mainly of residues from crude-oil distillation. It is used primarily for steam boilers in power plants, aboard ships, and in industrial plants. Commercial fuel oils usually are blended with other petroleum fractions to produce the desired viscosity and flash point.
- Pyrolysis oil is the end product of waste tyre and plastic pyrolysis. Pyrolysis oil is widely used as industrial fuel to substitute furnace oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO). Typical industrial applications of pyrolysis oil as a fuel in:
